Hi, I’m Casper, a photographer and filmmaker based in Amsterdam.

Photography was a big part of my childhood, as my father, mother and grandfather were all into photography. While my parents loved to take photos recreationally, my grandfather used to be a professional photographer. Maybe I inherited some of his genes.

My own journey into photography really took off during my studies, where I was surrounded by creative minds that pushed me to bring my ideas to life. I started out borrowing my mom’s camera, mostly shooting landscapes. Over time, I got my own gear, traveled, experimented, and gradually refined my skills.

For me, photography and video are more than just capturing what’s in front of me. It’s about storytelling, about transforming an idea into something real. I love the challenge of creating something out of nothing, of shaping light, movement, and emotion into a frame. My style is natural and candid, often working with available light to keep things authentic and unfiltered.

In my portfolio, you'll find a mix of work: portraits, fashion, travel, and lifestyle, both in stills and motion. Whether I’m photographing a person, a place, or a fleeting moment, my goal is always to create images that feel real, that tell a story, and that resonate.
